Thanks lovelies for the sms(es) that came in today regarding my first day at NP! (:

I technically hate orientation programs and stuff like that but the first day of NPP (Ngee Ann Polytechnic Preparatory Program) was pretty okay. I met Do at the busstop to walk in together. Received a shirt &other stuff upon registration, and i still think the shirt makes us all look like factory workers :b (not to mention due to my very horrible estimation, i looked like i was drowning in my shirt, as usual) Spotted & recognized Hannah from my interview last year! She's in Do's course though.

Mingled around abit before starting off with simple icebreakers like Kallang wave & such. Then we played some pirate/catwalk game & the diamond game outdoors. Station games were after lunch and things seemed to be more smooth sailing for me during the first half of the day. There is this thing about how all mass-commers are rahrah &outgoing, but i just couldn't decide if i really wanted to just keep leading. Everyone got abit tired after the food &I just couldn't get the group enthu and all ):

With no ideas but a fuchia bandana on hand, we ended up being "Pinky has Brains".

Things started picking up during the station games though. We had to walk across the "Scotland river" with only 7 legs (there were 10 of us) so we came up with this crazy line and to cross using only our hands and butts. At the end of it all, we were exhausted and I got this really nasty dirty blister on my hand ):

I was whinning abit after i found the blister but then I figured it really isn't like how it was in MG no more. There were no more girlfriends with me to make a big fuss outta my "injury". No one really thought it was a big thing so we just continued playing, that really made me think of "nurse" yam and Zhen&K ):

However, after a while we all started to familarize with each other and everyone's whacky side started to show. Glenn's the joker right from the start, since the diamond game and stuff. The station games were hilarious with his constant Cheenaman/Australian accent & his "confucius says...". Haifiz &Kampong Boy were darn funny too, turns out we're one lazy team who kinda ditched the last station to go back to the air-con resting area to slack. HAHAHA.

Today has been pretty exhausting, tmr's more of individual course orientation, hopefully that's more interesting & less running. S&W everyday T______T

Settled some stuff in the afternoon before meeting ros at Orchard to catch Funkamania Finals (: Standing from about 5pm - 9.30pm gave us nasty backaches & stuff but it's cool to catch the top10 sweat it out for the champion title. So many of them improved so damn much it was just so worth to watch them again even if it is the same routine.

Photo drought, my too-sensitive camera won't take any nice photos of the groups especially when they are dancing. The lighting wasn't exactly very flattering either.




Caught up with Catrina for abit near the end of the event. Feels pretty good to keep in contact, considering we met through such a weird way lollll.

Took Ziggy to the vet today to get his final vaccination :D i would be able to take him out from next week on!

Met wern at Plaza Sing for lunch, then headed to Fort Canning for another weird trip of mine, lol. Wasn't that much of a photoday, cause everything I take there would end up just looking a mess of foresty-green anyway.
